So I was at the mall today with my mom, my little sister and my little brother. I didn’t really feel like looking through cheaply made pricy products that little children in far away countries spent their hard work sweat and blood making. So I brought my little brother to the little kids play area, where all the parents bring their fussy kids to play with other kids. So I was just sitting there watching babies and toddlers and young children play games with eachother, all ones that they made up on the spot. There was these two little toddlers playing on this slide. They didn’t know eachother. One was a little boy and the other a little girl. The little boy did not speak English. The little girl only spoke English. Well since they were toddlers, neither of them spoke much that made a lot of sense to anybody. They wanted to take turns, and the little girl was telling him to go and she would catch him at the bottem. And the little boy was saying something back in his language, whatever that might have been. The boy went down the slide and the girl caught him, to the best of her ability. Then after that, the little boy smiled from ear to ear, and he held her hand and brought her around to the slide, and said something to her. Then the boy quickly ran to the bottem of the slide to catch the girl.
It was so amazing. It shows humanity that words aren’t always crucial. You don’t need words to do amazing things. Words are just an aid. To justify, or go into depth. And even that, you can do without words. People can show eachother so much without words. You don’t see animals going around using words. They use body language. Some use sound, but there is no corperated language. They don’t have dictionaries full of words and definitions. Humans can connect to eachother because they know what certain body language means, by nature. You don’t need to understand someone else’s language to know, they are your friend, they want to play, they love you, et cetera.
